We encourage students to be actively engage with their tutor and the material
being presented. In an interactive session, students are encouraged to ask
questions, share their thoughts and ideas, and provide feedback. Interactive
sessions are conducted online. Interactive sessions are often considered more
engaging and effective than traditional lecture-style presentations, as they allow
participants to actively participate in their own learning while gaining knowledge
from their tutor.

Hello, I am Gene, I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix 2000. I am committed to lifelong learning. I have been tutoring for over 20 years, as even during my time in college I was helping my peers in their various educational pursuits.
I am passionate about helping scholars achieve their educational goals because when I decided to go back to college as a father of 3 young children with my family on welfare, upon my entering the college system I was remediated in language and mathematics. My favorite subjects are geography and all social sciences, history, science, literature, and creative writing, and of course math through algebra 2.
I have taught all subjects in both public and private schools. I achieved a lifelong goal of becoming a classroom teacher in 2002 at the age 44. I was both a classroom teacher and the school’s P.E. Teacher/ Athletic Director.I am currently a substitute teacher for a local school district working primarily in elementary schools. Hello! You can call me Chris. I have a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and I am also a licensed Commercial Pilot. My interest in teaching started in college during Community Health Nursing wherein we were tasked to teach children and adults general guidelines on living a healthier life, preventing illness, promoting rehabilitation, evaluating the proper usage of community resources, and how to positively contribute to the overall health of the community. Seeing the community progress after all our efforts to help was a really rewarding feeling and I aim to experience that once again for the benefit of the students.
